Beautiful Buick at Charterhouse Auction

A pre-war Buick 41 Special Sedan is one of the star cars going under the Charterhouse hammer at their classic and vintage car auction on Sunday 15th June at The Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet.

“It is probably the best Buick 41 currently for sale. Bought by the vendor as a project, it underwent a total restoration costing £41,000 and that was with favourable mate’s rates at the garage!” Commented Matthew Whitney. “Now estimated at less than the total restoration cost, the owner is selling to fund a pre-war Cadillac convertible. It really represents a fantastic opportunity for the successful purchaser to buy a car that is better than new, can be enjoyed immediately and may also pay for its keep as a wedding car.”

Buick has always been expensive and favoured by the rich and famous. Perhaps the most famous Buick 41 Special was the stretched limousine owned by Mrs Wallace Simpson.
